Scope and responsibilities

A representative first month: review the product and available evidence, agree priorities, design an active flow, then review decisions and the next work with the team.

A typical rhythm combines asynchronous design and decision notes, scheduled working sessions, and design/engineering review. We agree the rhythm at kickoff.

Leadership and hands-on design share the agreed 2 or 3 days per week. Your product owner retains business priorities; engineers own implementation. We agree design decision responsibilities together.

Scope and responsibilities

The quote defines which screens and states are covered, the chosen deliverable, review rounds, and any research or testing. Recruiting and new studies are scoped separately when needed.

We review design feasibility with your engineers and agree implementation responsibilities. Product development and guaranteed performance improvements are not included.

Additional support and responsibilities

The proposal specifies which of these capabilities are included and what your team contributes.

Research and testing: Use existing evidence or agree a focused study. Participant access, recruiting, methods, and ownership are defined in scope.
UX writing: Clarify instructions, choices, and recovery language within the agreed flow. Your team owns specialist and legal approval.
Implementation review: Review designs with engineers and discuss the built experience when included. Your engineering team owns the build.
Measurement: Agree useful success signals and how your team can observe them. Analytics access and implementation are client contributions.
Mentoring: Support designers through critique and shared decisions within the agreed capacity and cadence.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. I am based in Sweden and work remotely with teams worldwide. Most collaboration is asynchronous, with scheduled video sessions. Rare in-person visits can be agreed separately.

Why is ongoing work a 3-month minimum?

Ongoing work needs time to understand the product, establish priorities, and work with the team through design and delivery. An audit or sprint is a better fit for a shorter engagement.

Which teams do you work with?

Teams building complex software, with a product owner, active priorities, and capacity to work on improvements. AI-enabled products and fintech are focus areas, not a requirement for every engagement.

How quickly can you start?
